My Son is 18 months old.

I found sometimes his right eye looks in right direction for temporary basis then he looks towards object properly. I googled this thing soI came to know his symptoms r similar to intermittent Exotropia.Because of this covid situation our Eye specialist told me to wait for some days. But i get disturbed can u please help me & Is there any precautions I can take.?
