yes I also used once for cleaning his face his face also become red so I had stop using on face

if the skin is dry it turns red after you apply the cream. if it forms rashes then the baby is allergic to it then change the lotion. My son's body used to get red with rashes for J&J and basen and also later I got to know he has severe eczema with allergic conditions.
