Hi please help me I am 36 weeks 4days pregnant everything is normal my doctor advised me to take betnesol injection I am very much confused because at this time I think lungs already matured.then why should I need the injection?

Doctors give betnesol injection for safer side. In case the baby comes by 36-37 weeks they give injections for proper lung maturity.<br> Happened with me also during 35th week i was given these injections.

Hi did you ask your doctor? Only she will be able to answer. May be she thinks delivery might happen before 37 weeks. There must be some reason, Do check.
