what is internal check-up? At what week it is done? is it an ultrasound that is done by inserting an instrument in vagina? read somewhere that doctor puts her hand into the vagina.. or this is true? I am 36 weeks pregnant and having an appointment tomorrow.. so wanted to know whether I am going to have it tomorrow? and is there any need to clean that part? does it pain?

They did just 15 days before my actual due date. And I waited 4 days after due date for labour pain. That was not there... so went for induced pain. Then they will check often. First gyno will check for fullness of stomach.. then if she feels the need to check ...she will do. Remember... breath normally and stay relaxed.
