It depends, I did not use pump at all because i did not want to introduce bottle. If you are joining work then go for electric one.

Hii, for electric one medela is good. For manual you can opt for philips. Electric will take lesser time and will be more efficient. If you have time to pump then manual too will work. I used manual cause I had enough time.

Depending on your requirement you can go for what would suit you best. If you are planning to express frequently, and baby is going to be mostly on expressed milk, then electric one will be a better option. It is more expensive in comparison to the manual one, doesn't take much time to express as well. However, if you would be expressing milk occasionally, and mostly baby will be directly breastfed, you can opt for manual one. This is less costlier than electric one however it takes more time to express milk.
