For a nine month old a high chair is good for developing self feeding...you can also look for a booster chair..also at this age babies usually are trying to stand with support and crawl and sit well..as for toys light and sound toys are good for developing sensory organs while you can purchase animal set, even give home utensils like spoons etc so that baby can hold and arrange them or play with them..flash cards are also a good idea..
