Hii mommies plez help
1. My baby is having cough n cold from past 8 to 9 days have shown to PED n his syrups r continue but still I fell his cold is not reducing
2. N from 2 days I too m having cold n cough n taking tablets as prescribed by doc
I m worried if it ll affect my lo
Plez help what should I do
My lo completed 4 Mont's n is on both bf n mostly formula

Hi Sonam,your cough and xold wont afeect baby,just make sure to keep your hands off your nose and mouth and other bodily fluids. Ensure to use sanitizer generously while handling the kid. It takes time for babies to overcome cough and cold since they are still building on their immunity. Trust your doctor,if it doesnt get cured,please review with him,he might change the medicine.<br>
Meanwhile,you can try a few home remedies for ur baby which doesnt harm:<br>
1) try to give steam to baby<br>
2) use ajwain potli ( take carom seeds,heat them in pan without oil,put them in a muslin cloth potli,ensure its neither too hot or cold,do warm compress using this on chest,back and neck,make him inhale the fragrance of the potli,keep this on his bedside<br>
3) take few saffron strands,mix them with warm water,put this on babys forehead. You can do the same with nutmeg.<br>

For your own cough try,a pinch of pepper in a tsp of honey twice a day if u dont have diabetes or is pre diabetic. Get well soon.
