there is no compulsion to do per vaginal examination.. its up to your doctor's choice.. so dont worry much about that.. if you are confused, you can ask doctor again about this.. and about shave and cleaning part is actually done by the staff.. dont shave it by own, may lead to wound because of baby bump..

After internal checkup my Doc could say that baby 's head is engaged n any time get ready for labor in my case.. There is no need to shave ur public area, nurse will take care of it at the time of delivery..
