Hi dear normally in most cases the placenta goes up by the last trimester as the uterus grows, then it's not a cause of worry. There are no causes just the positioning of placenta when formed. What grade maturity is it showing in the ultrasound??It's looks like it's pretty close to the OS so I hope your gynae must have suggested you not to exert, not to move much and stand for long hours. Try to keep your legs elevated when you sleep or relax. Also take all precautionary measures - avoid bending, brisk walking, any household exertion., avoid long road travel, yoga or exercises and intercourse. Unfortunately if it doesn't move by the last weeks, it might require a c section
