Hola gals, help me with understanding a strategy to handle my Labrador Lexi and my baby when born, at the outset!; Tips on how to introduce them to each other and what precautions to be taken? How much to let them bond and touch each other?; Can the dog lick the baby?; The pet is vaccinated but sheds hair. Otherwise is clean and tick free.;

Kiwi was introduced to my pets by 40th day . They were in kashmir else i would have introduced them just after coming from hospital.
There is no harm in licking. Mannat was licked by her fursiblings everyday . Brush your pet and introduce only in adult supervision . Remember dog is also a child .try to dedicate time to him as well . If you don't introduce they feel cornered. There are researches to prove there are less chanve of infection in baby if you have a pet . I will write a detailed post on how to introduce and do's and donts ..
