How long and at what intervals should we breakfeed baby?? How do we understand she is satisfied or not?

No it won't, yes in the beginning it will hurt later on you will get used to it. It's a phase so have patience if the baby wants to suck often.

Up to 1 month or till they regain birth weight Baby should be fed every 2 hours and whenever demanded. After that feed only when Baby demands , do not watch the clock just feed the baby until baby unlatches on its own. If your baby is peeing 6 plus times and sleeping at a stretch for 1 hour then he/she is satisfied. Breast milk is lite and babies can digest easily hence they will feel hungry often and demand milk, So it's normal and good. At the same time babies can also suck for comfort so if the baby is crying even after taking long feed don't think your milk is not enough. Include lot of jeera, saunf, ajwain, daliya, oats, eggs, dry fruits, nuts, milk and milk products in your diet regularly and drink plenty of water. Above all keep latching the baby to your breast often.
