I think pain varies from person to person ... How u take it . First day is a uncomfortable ... But they give u painkillers , if ur pain is severe u tell them then they give u more pain relief accordingly . I was able to bare the pain with the painkillers they gave nothing extra . They will bring the baby to u for breastfeeding as soon as u come into the room. The nurses will be there to help u , u just have to lie flat for 24 hrs usually .. next day they will make u get up and move but u will require some help at home for a few days as getting up might take time , someone may have to help u with the holding baby n giving it to u for feeding . U can absolutely take care of the baby from the day after the surgery . U usually don't require surgical panty they will provide u with disposable one . U need to take a few panties for next day onwards , pads , nursing bra's , gowns if u want to wear ur own . Any ur toiletries . Rest baby stuff is all u need .

Pain threshold n determination varies for everyone. I wasn't able to move due to severe pain for a day. But day 2 I was on my feet.
U can definitely feed right after. Speak to ur GYN abt it.
U will need help to get up, turn etc for a while.
U need to find out from ur hospital what all they will provide fr u n baby. Pack accordingly.
Bleeding will continue for about 4-6 weeks. Buts it isn't very heavy usually.
