Another surprising fact about newborn skin: No matter what your ethnicity, your baby's complexion will be reddish purple for the first few days, thanks to a circulation system that's just getting up to speed. (In fact, some babies can take up to;six months;to develop their permanent skin tone.)

If u are pregnant and in first trimester then u should be taking good care of urself. U should not do any heavy weight lifting and try to avoid excessive jerks to the pelvis and lower abdomen while traveling or moving around. U should vigilant for any vaginal discharge and inform ur dictor about the same asap.
Whereas for the new born Exclusive breast feeding in the first 6 months protects the baby from a lot of infections and provides immunity for further life as well.
And physically u can protect the baby by using a crib/cot covered with mosquito net even when u are not around, so the baby won't roll over. Please don't colour discrimiate ur baby. Complexion is genetic but it also changes with age and geographical exposure to sunlight. You can wish that ur child has a healthy glowing flawless skin, whatever may be the colour. Nutritious food with all vitamins and minerals will ensure a healthy skin for u and the baby. All shades are beautiful in their own way.
Please don’t think of changing the color. Babies are beautiful whatever color they are.
