Weight loss during pregnancy is not recommended. You will need to ensure that you eat healthy and balanced meals and if everything is normal then exercise regularly. Excess weight gain can bring about Pregnancy complications and hence the doctor has advised to watch the weight. Monitor the weight regularly and if necessary then get a nutrition consult which will help you to plan your meals as per your lifestyle and needs.

yes, that you have to certainly do... depending on normal or c-section, you can start reducing weight with adequate recovery time... its not impossible to lose weight, you will certainly be able to if you keep at it. especially if you breastfeed, a lot of weight will reduce by that itself...

hi dear, you cannot reduce weight while pregnant... reduce intake of sugar, salt, fried food items etc. some fruits can also contribute to weight like mango, jackfruit, chickoo so have in moderation... take smaller frequent meals 5-6 times. drink 3 ltrs water. have more proteins like moong sprouts, chicken, small fishes. for snacks have something healthy like oats, ragi, rice flakes etc. eat brown rice rather than white rice...
