As the world #breastfeeding week came to an end,the posts and the insights shared by many moms enlightened us about its benefits. Anandini was a pro at latching and I decided to continue this journey of breastfeeding despite of temptations of giving up post cluster feeds and exhaustion. I still remember the days of #colic when Baby A didn't know what to do.One moment she wanted the feed and the other instant she refused.#Persistence is what kept me going on. 🌻I still feed her on demand and have no plans of weaning her completely as it provides her with the essential nutrients for development and growth. 🌻It has antibodies that protect the child from allergies and other diseases. 🌻Breastmilk is very light on baby's stomach and hence easily digestible. 🌻It is the pure and the safest food you can provide to your baby while travelling. 🌻Breastfeeding is not easy.Lets not make it challenging by having the inhibition of feeding in public. When hunger strikes your baby, just nurse the baby. It's a natural process and we should strive to normalise this. 🌻The benefits of breastmilk are numerous. Also,I would say it's a personal choice.Mothers who choose formula over breastmilk for whatever reason too have equal bonding with the child and raise healthy babies.
#fedisbest 🌻I also chose breastfeeding as Baby A was detected with CMPA and I did not want to give her formula. #breastfeeding #cmpa#isitcolic#dairyfree#diagnosis#management#foodallergy#lactation#brelfie#normalizebreastfeeding
