I am a person for whom everyday is mother's day or father's day..

But few days ago my one son asked me mama why does mother's day come during summer vacations and father's day, teachers day , grandparents day come during school days🤔🤔

He learnt about this days from school as they have some special Activity planned...

After his question I searched pinterest and printed out this free templates and gave both of them to jot down their heart on this....

I knew it will be difficult for them but I said to them that make it; wrong or anything you like but I am not going to help you guys....

To my utter surprise they made it pretty well and even wanted to bake a cake for me...

I didn't helped and allowed them to bake so today afternoon both baked chocolate cake from scratch (just oven part I had to do )

Frankly speaking cake was almost perfect but was too sweet (maybe they goofed up with sugar measurements)
So here it goes..It's a simple chocolate cake receipe with easily available ingredients in our kitchen pantry...

Ingredients

All purpose flour 1and half cup

Buttermilk 1cup

Sugar granulated 1cup

Baking soda 1tsp

Salt 1/2 TSP

Oil half cup

Vanilla essence 1tsp

Cocoa powder half cup
Method

Seive all the dry ingredients two to three times except sugar...mix sugar,oil, buttermilk and essence together... Meanwhile preheat your oven at 180 degree for 15mins...

When the wet ingredients are mixed properly add the dry ingredients and mix it..Don't overbeat the mixture...Prepare the vessel by putting oil and butter paper...Pour the batter in the prepared vessel and bake for 35 to 40 mins or till toothpick comes clear...Can be stored outside in air tight container for 2-3 days and in freeze for a week...
