I got a Anomaly scan done, where my cerebral ventricular diameter was 8.3 mm and 9.3 mm slightly higher than normally seen. I was advised a fetal MRI which revealed that rest all things were normal but the right ventricular diameter was 10.4 mm which was mildly indicative of ventriculomegaly. doctor advised for TORCH panel as well to rule out any infection. along with a suggestion to do NIPT test. I am in my 25 the week. My quadrupole marker test was normal. I am worried thinking if that mild ventriculomegaly in the right side , will be of any significance for the growth and development of the brain of my baby in the coming months? Has anyone faced such borderline values. please advise.
