placenta is in lower segment of uterus. but in early pregnancy u dont need to worry abt it. as the uterus will grow the placenta will move upwards away from the uterus opening. <br>
(in some ppl the placenta is situated lower/nearer or at the end of the uterus- which can cause complications like bleeding.)
