question
I have a 4 months old baby. He is sleeping for very less time. In the night he sleeps from 8PM-9PM and again 12AM - 6AM. During the day he sleeps very less and while sleeping I should nurse him or I should be beside him otherwise he wakes up instantly. I'm worried as sleep is important for baby's growth. How to make him sleep more?

This is normal, and feeding to sleep is recommended by traditional sleeping group experts. But if the baby needs you next to him all the time while sleeping should be changed.. Try keeping pillows next to you, let him feel the touch of pillows instead of you. Keep trying, we can't change anything overnight.

Hi
All that they know is to feed and sleep. The schedule which you have mentioned seems to be normal. Feed on demand. Until six months there could be some changes in feeding n sleeping patterns after which you can start scheduling the sleep routine. Baby feels comfortable if they are with their mothers. Burp after each feed, this phase shall pass too; tc
