I have a dry skin, and winter really makes my skin worse. Hence, with a lot of trial and error I finally have a winter skin care regime which ensures my skin is hydrated and soft all the time
.
1. I keep my skin hydrated both internally and externally. Means, I consume lot of water mined with herbs like Tulsi etc and keep sipping it throughout the day. Externally I use hydrating moisturizer twice a day or whenever I feel dryness around cheeks, laugh lines etc.
2. I apply ghee before going to sleep to prevent dryness and to help lips look healthy
3.make use of a face mask atleast 2 times a week. One can also make some diy face mask from ingredients available in the kitchen. Personally I make almond oil and honey mask, or apply fresh aloe vera, or a fruit mask like strawberry yogurt etc
4. Apply vitamin C serum daily to promote collagen formation and repair damage
5. And lastly, Make use of sunscreen no matter what to protect skin from UV Ray's
