I have been trying to introduce cow's milk to my 15 month old for a few days now, but he is completely refusing it. I think he is not liking the taste. Please suggest me how should we go about it. My wife wants to completely wean him off of breast milk now but unable to since he is not accepting cow's milk. Should I add some flavour to it so that he starts liking it? Please advise me. #dotingdaddy#cloudandsunshine

Thank you ladies. He eats stuff prepared out of milk without any fuss and enjoys eating cerelac, kheer, halwa, paneer, cheese, butter, ghee etc. but is refusing milk as such. We also add dry fruit powder to all his sweet dishes. As suggested I shall try flavouring his milk and invest in a good sipper or straw cup. I don't want to get him into the habit of bottle feeding. Also I would make it a target to get him to have half a litre milk in any form. I may even start with formula milk which can help in weight gain. Thanks ladies for all the helpful suggestions. 😄

U can try to add flavors like cardamom, haldi, long, dry fruits, dry grapes, cinnamon. If this does not work, dairy can be given as curd, cheese or cottage cheese. There are many sources of calcium which u can give to the child.

Hello Kartik, I feel you should add any flavour instead try and introduce a fancy glass or straw. If you really want to add flavours you can give in form of milkshakes, or curd, or paneer or custard, kheer,
