I see that there are soo many commercially available infant solid food in the market... Cerelac,Nestum,FirstBite, something from Lactogen brand as well.
How to choose from them ?

Among the brands... Nestum I found easier to digest than the others. I had issues with cerelac. If cost isn't an issue you can also try Gerber. Its great in taste and I had zero digestion issues with it.<br>
First bite was extremely sweet. Wouldn't recommend that.

I started my son with Ragi porridge and then moved to daliya, khichdi, fruit purees, vegetable soups and so on.. but I still gave him one serving of cerelac/nestum/first bite per day once he turned 8 months. Two reasons - 1. I wanted him to get used to different types of food 2. I travel for work a lot.; Powdered baby food saved me on multiple occasions. <br>

Shravani - its recommended to wait for 6 mnths to be completed. We have lots and lots of helpful articles on @weaning @weaning food @meal plans - pls search and go thru all of them. Will make ur life super easy :)
