Nowadays instead of two tetanus shots....one shot in second trimester & one DTAP (Diptheria, Tetanus & Pertussis) shot in third trimester is recommended.

You have to take 2 Tetanus injection in second trimester at a interval of 1 month. If u have any negative blood group and ur husband has positive blood group then u have to take anti D injection.. also if u wish u can have flu vaccine in second trimester but it's optional.

You need to take tetanus shots--in the second trimester. Oteriwse, if you have o negative blood group, you need to get an ANTI-D 48hrs post delivery.
