If my breast muscles are loose and soft does it mean that I don't have adequate milk for my baby? I use to feed him for every 2 hrs and most of the time the breasts are loose and soft. It's tender and tight only if he skips one hr to feed. I'm worried whether I'm lacting enough to feed my 1 month old baby. Suggestions pls. Thx!

Loose breasts do-not mean less food for the baby. There are other ways you can judge if the baby is getting enough. His weight gain and pee count being an indicator

No in the beginning when you start feeding and the milk comes in around third or fourth day the breast feels very heavy. This can last for a few weeks. The body then learns how to regulate the supply and makes as much as the baby wants and hence does not feel heavy and engorged.
