No it doesn't unless the dog is clean and not sick.. Which is generally not the case with most of the pets. Infact I've known frnds of mine who even let their dogs near to their new born. So don't worry just love them and enjoy. You are lucky u have the best thing to keep u fresh. Just take care that u clean ur hands once u spend time with them

I don’t think it has anything to do with pregnancy. My maykaa has a spitz and my bhabhi was pregnant. She did played with her and fed her. No issues whatsoever. Just make sure you wash hands before you feed yourself. Just to avoid any infection
