I'm trying to wean my 4m lo from bottle to bf. He's getting very fussy, cranky and spits up after I bf. He's also running lil fever. My folks are getting angry because of this and blaming me for trying to change his habits and affecting his health. This is making me disheartened. What to do?
Bottle is naturally easier for the baby and hence very difficult to switch from bottle to breast especially at this age. You will need to move first to vati and spoon and then get the baby to the breast over a few days. Another alternative is express breast milk and feed that to the baby even if it is with the bottle atleast it will be your breast milk which is the healthier option.

it's very difficult to switch baby bottle to bf at this stage... just check if he latches properly.. my baby is completely on bottle. I sterilise bottle after every use.
