In this rainy season i have a huge craving for ginger chai.But I recently heard it isnt good for pregnant ladies.Is there a healthy replacement to masala chai ? .I have acidity n pitta issues so im trying to avoid tea even once a day...

Dear prachi..you can have chai Wala milk instead...like in tea there is lots of caffeine..as it is concentrated so you can make a masla milk wherein you can add say 1 tsp chai Patti to 1 glass milk and boil it with this masala...for making masala gring few green elaichi, 1 cinnamon stick, few cloves, 2-3 peppercorns with little sugar and store it..in a pan take just half cup water and add this masala..boil it..add sugar and about 1 medium glass milk..then add 1 tsp chai Patti and on simmer boil till milk turns light brown..this is healthy and will satite your craving.. For acidity try having saunf ka paani, ice cream when it melts, chass without even salt..cold plain milk..take 2-3 sips many times a day..it helps.. I could have <u>recommended</u> ice tea for acidity but at this stage that much caffeine is not good
