You can do some basic shopping in your seventh month because it wouldn't be easy for you to go shopping in your 8th or 9th month. Buy rest of the things once the baby arrives. Also your relatives and friends will also give you gifts so don't buy too much in advance otherwise you will be stuck with same pair of things...
