Is dealing with surrounding and close family members so tough after having baby? what if I am considered the most irresponsible mother, because I want to spend some time with myself and also don't papmeper my 5 months old kid every second, as I want him to be self dependent and immunised with every
situation. ? Does that mean I don't love my baby?

shreyasi....kuch toh log kahenge....aur kya kaam hai unko, unka kaam hai kehna.
u took all the pain to bring that baby in this world, u r the best person to guide ur baby.
so not be disheartened by what others say. and it is completely normal to ask for some ME time, dont you deserve to live ur life? ur life has taken a 180 degree change...while others continue with what they were doing.
a mothers love is unconditional and neither people can question you... nor u have to prove ur love to anyone.
i was judged too when i didnt always keep my baby in lap and asked people not to pick them n do the ullululul shit. i had a reason because i was going to bring them up alone and i knew i didnt want that habit of picking, i simply couldnt afford to pick both of them together..alwyad and for no reason..i had other things to do too. once someone jumped in between when i was having a one on one with my kid for hitting an elder....i simply asked them to keep out...and that they were my kids ...they follow my rules.
so chillax and jo natak kare ask them to do something meaningful with their life instead of judging others

thank you beautiful ladies for understanding me and motivating me. I was under so much and feeling guilty . when ur own parents say so, then the confidence takes a back seat . but thank you all understanding me. I also believe that a happy and a confident mother can give a good environment to her baby. if motherhood becomes a burden, then it will be the worst situation for a child, a family and society too. n I want a healthy child both physically n mentally

Good decision. Giving time to self and not pampering doesn't make you bad in any way. It's the most precious lesson you are teaching to your baby. Being independent and love self. Just ignore ppl..and enjoy motherhood and celebrate yourself. Being mother..you know better..what is good for your kid.

hey @63736683573f5c0015bc6ba5 even i go through the exact feeling at times. My kiddo is also 4 months old. And my husband keeps travelling. So he is hardly at home. Sometimes even i too feel frustrated feel like running away for some me time. But i guess its quite normal. May b this phase shall pass soon. Sometimes its ok to leave your child with mil or mom ang get some me time. We are not bad moms dont ever think like that. Just b happy and ask help.
