Is internal examination during 38 week will be more painful? After internal examination the pain will increase for labour?

Hi harsali, yes an internal checkup is necessary to know how far along you are for labour. The cervical dilatation is checked with it. It will be a bit painful, but these days doctors will use an anaesthetic/numbing gel while doing the internal examination so it won't be paining too much. Also, not necessarily labour pain will start after it, it may or may not. Don't worry.

It depends, Some moms say its painful and some say it was easy. Not necessarily labour pain will start. Little discomfort will be there, so don't worry.
