Simi as some have mentioned some babies start sleeping through the night by the time they are 3 months. they are nursing well through the day and don't end up.getting up for up to 4-5 hours at a stretch. If your babys growth is on track (check with your paediatrician) there is no need to wake your baby.

Hey it's a good thing that your baby is able to sleep through out the night. But answer to your query depends upon your baby's weight. Your baby's pediatrician will be able to guide you as to whether you should be feeding your baby every 2hours or your should demand feed your baby. I was asked to feed my son every 2 hours for 1st two months immediately after his birth. N since he gained gained good weight, I was asked to demand feed him thereafter..i.e. 3rd month onwards. Check with your baby's pediatrician to know what is right for your baby.

No Simi, u must feed the baby in the nights also.Otherwise baby will be dehydrated.Baby's glucose levels might fall down and they can't tell that.So feed the baby in the nights also.If the baby is not crying in the nights for feed, u can watch for 3 to 4 hrs..and then feed.
