You will need nappies, blanket for baby, dry sheet, cotton cloths to make baby sleep on. U need this more as baby pee and poops very often. Cloths for baby, u need to wash dry and keep it. You can't put new cloths without washing. Small hankies to wipe baby lips after feeding. Towel to give bath.

Is it necessary to buy n pack baby essential to be taken along with in the hospital??? 

My in laws r saying let the baby be born n then later we can buy. I have got just a set of swaddling blanket,socks n hand gloves that's it. 
If yes, what all should I keep ready in basics.
