I have asked for relaxation in office timing for my HR as my son is already going to a day care..in return to which they have replied verbally stating that this rule is applicable to women whose children are up to 15 months old..

There's no age limit for the child  but for every organization having more than 50 employees, it is mandatory to have a crèche/ daycare.
