Reeti, you can gradually start decreasing FM,i used to give max thrice, then slowly took off one feed a week, and then com0letely foregone within 2 weeks..but be prepared, ebf journey is difficult. You will have to be readily available for your babys demands. So,try pumping every 2 hours even if the baby is not demanding,so that you get some rest while others can feed the baby with the pumped output. You can try, sidelying feeding too. Atleast it was a breather for me..there were and still are days when my baby sleeps only if she is suckling,so I sleep in side lying feeding position. Initially, you will have to be really careful and need to discover the position which is comfortable for both of you but eventually this will give you some sleep while ebfing. Happy feeding👍

@619a92cd86bd960014c02de9 wonderful! Actually I faced the same problem LO was crying always when EBF and didn’t gain weight so had to put him on FM. But now I want to put him back on BM but don’t know how to do this.

Reeti, for initial 1 month,i fed only bm,then as everyone started bugging that baby cries out of hunger and I should introduce formula plus the doc said to increase her weight,i should start formula, hence I started, for about a month I gave formula where she wasn't able to digest and used to projectile vomit a lot of times, sometimes even the bm..I used to land up to paeds clinic almost every week. Then ,he started counselling me with various examples and quoted that a mom always makes enough for her baby. He gave me that strength and my father backed me up saying, the kid needs only bm so starting 2 months,my baby is exclusively breastfed.
