Baby is too small Karishma,breasts get stimulated at this time and some discomfort is natural. However,if its paining from the cup to tip,must be engorgement related. Do warm compress,massage lightly. At times its let down pain as well which feels like a stinging sensation and it is okay to feel that way,it will improve in coming months. If its nipple related then its latching issues,do visit a lactation expert. Or just see that you are putting major portion of aerola in babys mouth rather than him just sucking on nipples. For nipples,you can apply your own bm and let it air dry or home made ghee. If nipples are cracked,Maybe buy a nip butter and apply but do wipe with water before feed. Hope things get better!
