It's been more than two months since I stepped outside. Neither has my son. Our society has restricted access to the terrace. We also don't own a terrace flat where you can smell some fresh air. We've been home ever since.

What really surprises me is that my son has been cool as a cucumber throughout this entire lockdown. .

Each of us reacts differently to this situation. Some of you may start slowly getting used to the new normal. You may work around and find comfort in the little joys of life. However, for some of you, it may just be the opposite. You may feel flustered, irritated, and confused. The uncertainty, the sudden change in your routine, and powerlessness to handle most happenings, may make things worse. In such situations, who keeps you grounded?

We stay in a nuclear family, and in such times it's difficult to handle a small child, make him understand the current scenario, and complete all chores in tme before work starts. I wouldn't have been able to survive this lockdown if my husband wouldn't have been so positive and supportive throughout. Who else would've handled our 5-year old endless yapper in the background, when I am on calls? 🤣

My husband and my mom are my go-to people. I have seen most mothers and daughters do share a special bond. I am quite blessed because my mom does stay quite close to my house. I do miss meeting her in this lockdown. Who's your go-to person? How are you coping with this? Have you reached the limit of your sanity or are you still tugging hard and trying to stay afloat?
