As a mom, I know that if I want to be able to give the best of myself to my family, I need to take excellent care of myself. Otherwise, I am going to show up with low-energy and resentment. That’s not the mom I want to be.I want to enjoy being with my kid and I want him to enjoy being with me. I want him to feel safe, and connected and like he can confide in me. In order to be the best version of myself for my family, I need to pour into myself first. Taking care of yourself is more than just face masks and bubble baths. It is giving yourself what you need in all areas of your life.
