Keeping a check on your baby’s body temperature to make sure your baby isn’t overheated especially during these summers is very important. To check if the baby isn’t too hot touch the baby’s tummy, back, or neck to see if it isn’t sweaty or warm.
When babies get overheated, they tend to turn pale, get fussy, cry, develop heat rashes or rashes in the sweaty areas of the body, have disturbed sleep patterns, etc.
To prevent this:
Make sure your baby is always placed in a pleasant and cool environment.
Dress your baby in soft, light, breathable, and comfortable clothes.
Avoid covering your baby with too many layers.
Keep a regular check on the room temperature as well as your baby’s body temperature.
Keep your baby hydrated and breastfeed him/her well.
Keep your baby away from excess heat and sun.
Note: Excess overheating may lead to dehydration, vomiting, and heatstroke in babies. Consult your doctor immediately during such situations. #babycare#summercare#overheating#seemasays
