Kokum Sharbat

Kokum syrup 2 tbsp

Black salt; 1/4 tsp

Chilled water 2 glasses

Sabja seeds 1 tsp optional

Sugar as per taste

Method

👉Soak the sabja seeds in 1/4 cup of water for 15 min or more.Take the kokum syrup, black salt in a jug and dilute with chilled water. Adjust taste.Pour into the glass, top with soaked sabja seeds. Kokum sharbat recipe is ready. Serve chilled. Enjoy!

👉For making the Kokam syrup

👉Ingredients

Dried kokum; 1 cup

Sugar 11/2 cups

Water; 2 cups

Roasted jeera powder 1 tsp

Kala namak 1/2 tsp

Water

Method
👉To make the kokum syrup combine dried kokum and water in a pot. Let it soak for 15 minutes.Add in the sugar, roasted jeera powder and kala namak. Give it a stir.

👉If kokum is exceptionally sour, add more sugar to balance the taste.Keep the pan on stove and bring the kokum mixture to a boil.

👉Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Stir often.Turn the heat off and blend the kokum mixture.Strain the mixture to separate the kokum pulp from the kokum juice.

👉Let the kokum syrup cool completely. Transfer it to an airtight bottle and store it in the fridge.use whenever you want to make sharbat.

💖👉Just take a glass add water add kokum syrup 2-3 tbsp add ice serve chilled.garnish with mint leaves or coriander leaves and choppped green chilly
