Yes I too bought new and washed them to make them used. If you can&rsquo;t find easily around you, why to beg? No ways

From the beginning; n to till now,we always heard that the new born baby should be put on old clothes for 13 days.As in our tradition in Punjab ,the baby will wear old clothes; untill the; Sutak has done.After Sutak the baby will wear new clothes.They only reason behind to make baby wear old clothes is that that they are soft n baby's skin is very soft.If u have some old clothes then wash it with some antiseptic lotion n dry under sun.If u want that ur baby wear new clothes then u should get some new clothes n then wash it 2 to 3 times so that it becomes soft for baby n it should harm baby.The choice is urs.All the best&#128077;&#128077;<br>

I dont see any harm in wearing old clothes if they are in good comdition and thiroughly washed and disinfected. If u are having a issue, then tell thwm u r getting old clothes from ur moms side. N tell you mom to purchase new clothes and wash them like 30 times to make rhem appear old. Tadda.. done..

Many have this belief and the reason is that the old clothes are soft and cN be comfortable for kids. And earlier tyms there was nothing like pple used to wash clothes with the baby detergents so this was the solution. Now that we are lucky to have those options try explaining them our way. And come to an in between solution. U never know they might understand it. And side by side you can take new clothes and wash them and keep ready to be worn once the baby is born. Don't spoil your mood and just be positive, things will work out.
