Ladies it has been three weeks since my discharge from nurisng home. My gyno had suggested six weeks rest and prolonged avoidnace of heavy weights and excess staircase usage. Ritual wise, we have something called chowka coming Wednesday on the 31st day and post 41 days, i can (rasm riwaz wise) resume kitchen me aana jaana. I wanted to know if i cn do slight dusting, cutting, cooking without standing for long hours, from day 41? Am fed up of the maid's unclean ways and shortcuts. Plus MIL ka food isnt palatable much.

Yes you can do just make sure u don’t have any discomfort or stress of stitches... I travelled after 21 days of c-section from Bangalore to Delhi by train... later I was ya moms place.. I use to climb stairs after a month of so to have some sunlight as it was winters...

Dear I had a normal delivery and I am quite a non-believer in such rituals. So I was in my kitchen the sixth day and was riding my scooter the following week. But you do what your body allows. I have no idea about c section. But have seen my friends resuming work within a month.
