Learning disabilities are neurological issues that affect one’s ability to grasp, read, learn, write, speak or interpret. It’s important to know the difference between normal delays in learning and disabilities.
Kids tend to be slow learners in the beginning but eventually cope up with it. Such kids cannot be grouped under learning disabilities. Also, a few kids may have a different set of interests and might not be interested in a specific type of learning. These kids may have an interest in different learning areas, sports, or other activities.
Do not consider such conditions as learning disabilities. They might be momentary and can be managed over time with proper care, guidance, and love.
