Let's grow sprouts!
#ToddlerActivity #EasyDIY #MomHack
Every day I would love to share one #MomHack with you - could be anything under the sky. I would also love for you too to keep sharing small small #MomHacks whenever you can! They really help!!
So here's something to keep your kiddo occupied for a bit - it will teach him/her to be caring and nurturing. And hopefully initiate some green love :)
One thing my childoo STILL loves doing is growing sprouts! She's been doing this at home, for playschool, for school for god knows how many years now, but it still fascinates her!
All you need is
- a plastic container (always keep recyclable stuff in a box for childoo)
- 2 flattened cotton wools
- 8-10 green moong (whole) dal
Method:
- soak one cotton wool in water
- place in container
- sprinkle moong all over the cotton wool giving them gaps to grow
- cover them with another cotton soaked in wool
- check every day and add some drops of water for them to grow.
- when the sprouts start shooting remove upper cotton wool
- you can even re-plant in soil in a small pot!
Enjoy watching the sprouts grow!!
