This recipe reminds me of my childhood days when my mom use to prepare this for breakfast and take with us to school in tiffin .i just love the aroma.with top it with ghee yummy yaad ageya vo bachpan ke din miss you mom 😚

Here I don't get good jackfruit I just miss this recipe to make.

You can make this recipe in two ways.

Method is same.

Steam Jack fruit cake
👉1 type

Ingredients

Jackfruit 4 cups

Rice 1 cup

Fresh grated coconut 1/2 cup

Jaggery 1/4 cup adjust as per your taste

Salt as per your taste

Banana leaves

👉2 type

Ingredients

Jackfruit 4 cups

Rice 1 cup

Salt as per your taste
Method

👉Rinse and soak the rice for 30 minutes.

Cut and separate the edible part of the jackfruit.

👉Now take banana leaves and clean it thoroughly. Next either steam it or hold it on the stove top for few seconds. This is done to avoid breaking of the leaves while folding.

👉Take soaked rice, jackfruit, coconut, jaggery and salt in a mixie jar. Grind it into a fine batter, which is little coarse. Lyou need not add any water while grinding.

Transfer it into the container. The batter shall have thick dropping consistency. If the batter is very thin, then you can add little rava to adjust the consistency.

👉Next place a handfull of batter on one banana leaf.Next fold it like a packet.

Steam it for 30 minutes. Serve it hot hot with ghee.

Don't add too much jaggery batter will become watery.

You can; even steam in idlli cooker
