Make Up vs baby's;

Baby Grooming Part 2

This wasn't on my writing list anywhere but today morning's encounter at Aarav's school with kids dressed up as Radha and Krishna triggered this post out of me... I'm a make up friendly person, but not very often, I use it only when the occasion calls for. I often come across mom's and even have seen my cousin's who doll up their daughters in beautiful clothes but add a lot of make on their faces.;

What really saddens me or worries me is, the chemicals that the cosmetic industry uses to prepare those products. It's just for a few hours Mahima !! I know it's for a few hours, but the skin absorbs in minutes. It's safe, I know my products, but do you know your baby's skin?? It's ok, since it's once a while, still the effect on skin is bad and do you know that skin takes a minimum of three months to repair completely and recover from the affects of an allergy or cosmetic chemicals. Mahima, you are a mother of boy so you won't be able to relate to how girls are dressed, even if I had a girl even then I would have been writing the same. If you still want to make use of make up for occasion then bear caution and ensure you take all the necessary care about the products and after care for your lil Bub's skin ...;

🗨️ Use best brands for your Bub's skin no matter what you use for yourself.;
🗨️ Don't use the same products you have used on your lil one. Specially brushes, kajal, lipstick.
Cosmetics that have contacted your skin directly should be avoided is my point.;
🗨️Don't let your lil one sleep off with make up on, make sure you clear it up before she/he hits the bed.;
🗨️ Don't use a make up remover, use virgin coconut oil and clear make up. After cleaning up apply a good moisturizer.
🗨️ Don't use wet wipes to clean make-up or as such skin too. Wet wipes actually make the skin dryer.;
🗨️Avoid using extensive make up products. Keep it minimalistic and stick to more natural colour as dyes used are limited in primary colour.;
🗨️There are some brands that make separate cosmetics for lil ones which are much safer.;

Hope this help, please avoid as much as you can.... Until next post 🙌🙌 stay safe , healthy and happy....
