Masala for Chicken Gravy:


I am sharing the recipe of the masala I use for making super tasty chicken gravy or dry chicken masala.. This is my mummy's recipe and she makes awesome chicken..my hubby loves it.. At my sasural, my MIL used readymade chicken masala.. but when I introduced this homemade masala, everyone loved the taste!!!


So here it goes...


Ingredients:


- 3.6 big tbsp cumin seeds
- 1.6 big tbsp cardamom seeds
- 4 to 5 medium cut cinnamon sticks
- 1 big tbsp black pepper powder
- Few cloves


Recipe:


- Fry each of the above ingredients one by one on low steam for sometime.
- Grind everything in a mixer and the masala is ready!!!


PS: while preparing chicken gravy, along with the above masala, also add readymade coriander powder fried on low steam. For nice red colour, don't forget to add readymade Kashmiri chilli powder 15 minutes before you take off the chicken gravy.
