Tips for celebrating ganesh festival in #ecofriendly way
👉Keep the idols small and simple.Avoid using plaster of Paris idols or those that are painted with chemicals. You can make idols using eco friendly materials like clay, atta or turmeric. We ;all know water is precious, but clean water is more than precious....So instead of immersing the idol in natural water like rivers and lakes immerse the idols in water; at home in bucket and use that water for plants
👉Use natural or resuable decorative materials like flowers and leaves, cloth, paper for decoration instead of plastics. You can also use natural colors such as turmeric, henna, rice powder, colored dal to make rangoli.
👉Avoid playing loud music which might create disturbance to others.
👉Keep lighting simple and save energy.
👉Avoid plastic like disposable cups, plates instead of use banana leaf.
👉Avoid plastic bags instead of use cloth or paper bags.
👉Last but not the least spread awareness about celebrating in a responsible manner using eco-friendly idols. "Happy Ganesh Chaturthi everyone"
