The breast nodes start in the underarms hence milk will always be there. And since milk has just started coming it will naturally feel heavy till the body understands how much is required. Before feeding the baby massage the breast and use a warm towel to help soften the breast. Then feed the baby. After a feed if you still feel heavy then place an ice pack for a few minutes. This will give you relief. The issue should settle down in a few days.

Dear karishma don't worry wo jab hum new mom bante hai tab bhout sari situation same Aati hai unme se ek hai ye breastmilk heavy hona ...jab breast heavy Hoti hai Jada toh aap ko fever bhi hota hoga ishliye Abhi baby bhout chota hai toh wo Jada milk nhi pee pata toh aap Breast ko pump karke extra milk nikal dia karo taki breast me gaat nha pad jaye.apko ussi wajha SE pain ho Raha hai......dear same mere Sath bhi hua tha mujhe bhi yehi doctor ne karne ko bola tha ..... don't worry baby jaise jaise grow up hoga wo Jada milk consum karega fir sab thik ho Jayega ..but baby ko apna hi breastmilk dena 6 months tak or agar nipple's crack ho jaye toh uss per apna breastmilk laga Lena jaldi thik ho jayega

Hi Karishma. This is very normal for new mothers. So when there is a gap of time for a feed your breastmilk gathers and leaks. Do express your milk. That will help reduce the pain and leackage of milk. Happy motherhood!
