Mom Truth : I yell a lot... . . Is this you? Do you find your patience is wearing thin? Do you scream and yell at your kids all the time? Do you constantly feel triggered due to trivial annoyances? I have this very issue of yelling at my girl at the end of the day because I tend to get tired. But I don’t want her to go to bed all sad and unhappy so I tried few things that might help you. If you go through the same then this piece is for you.. . Instead of repeating these to yourself: . 🔸Why am I constantly getting angry at the end of the day? 🔸I am easily irritable, I don’t know why? 🔸I had a long tiring day doing household chores and taking care of baby! 🔸I wasn’t this person back in college days.. 🔸I didn’t really raise my voice before becoming a mom! 🔸I feel so much shame about yelling 🔸I feel like no one hears me out unless I raise my voice? 🔸I yelled out of frustration because baby was cranky all day.. 🔸I worry about my kids because I keep yelling at them! 🔸Am I a bad parent when compared to my spouse? because kids love him! . . Try these to calm yourself: . 🔹Tell your children ‘mommy is upset right now’ and needs some time.. 🔹 Ground yourself completely in the moment by focusing on your senses. 🔹 You might frighten your kids with your behaviour and tone, call someone to take the charge of the moment (spouse is better in this situation). 🔹 Try working on your patience levels! 🔹 Breathe, sit down! 🔹 Divert your mind, walk away! 🔹 Ask your partner to take over as you’re done for the day! . . #youngmomjournal #mamaofsimra #bbcreatorsclub #babychakramom
