Is child safety in our country becoming a big concern amongst many parents?..
This is one question that keeps coming back to haunt me time and again...just yesterday when I was watching News at night my heart broke when I saw that an infant, almost 8 months old child has been sexually abused in Delhi by her own cousin, who is 28 years old and has a kid of his own.
News like these are really disturbing...it doesn't matter which city it is or the child belonged to middle class or was rich... somehow, incidents related to child abuse are at a rise and the brutality inflicted upon kids is heart wrenching to even think off...

Its unimaginable to even think about the mental and physical trauma a child who goes through any kind of brutality, and what about the parents?...and isn't it a wound for a lifetime?..
I don't have any qualms in saying that women safety in our country was, is and probably will be in a bad state for times to come but its disturbing to see that violence and abuse against children is on a rise...is it because they are easy or soft targets?..or a country of our size and diversity has such psychos increasing day by day!!
Its not only this incident, there are many like these...nothing seems to be safe?..it can happen in school, school bus, public places, day cares and is sometimes done by neighbours, teachers and even relatives. It can happen to any child of any age and even boys of young age ate targeted..there seems to be no sanity left whatsoever..
Where are we going as a society?...its ironical that on one hand when we are advancing in technology and becoming developed and more developed as a nation in almost every field, what about our values, culture, morality and basic things like child safety?..how can parents trust someone these days with their children?
Kindly share your views on this?...It may not happen to us ever but is happening to someone almost every day.

These r the days which v as a human can't ignore... Don't know what r the laws for this .. Y people commit this mistake again n again ..? Y can't they learn from others ..?? R our laws only in theorical aspects or is it being practiced in correct way ..? Y r people not being afraid of the kids parents ..? Is parents upbringing wrong to leave their kids with others like teachers day care or relatives ..?
There r many questions to be answered.. Self defense of our kids is must ..
We as parents should be alert for their future ..
Don't know what is going to happen in next min .. Me as a parent of 4 month little boy make him understand that v should be protective to ourselves... It is dreadthful n heart breaking to hear these kind of news ..
But v should be alert n not trustworthy on others ...

Upbringing.....the most important word of life. I wish this world become a better place to live. But I will still guard my sentence...8 months is out of imagination....I dnt know what kind of cruel some guy he was. But jinko bacha sakte hain....jo khud ko bacha sakti hain....ya shayad auron ko bhi....unhe to taiyyar karein.

Don't be sorry at all..I just loved your response...even I feel the same way...its the criminal mentality that gradually develops...may be starting with mischief or male chauvinism which is laughed off at home and later results in all this..it really depends on the upbringing and what kids learn from us..we have to be watchful.
